“I am delighted to have a reason to get up in the morning.”
Victoria is originally from Ukraine, there Victoria worked as an aeronautic engineer and is very proud of the different jobs she had in the field. After immigrating to Israel in 1993, she lived in Ramat Gan and Carmiel, and now resides in an assisted living facility in Pisgat Ze’ev. She is a widow, with one son and two grandchildren who live in Modiin.
In 2010, Victoria joined Yad LaKashish in the ceramics department. As with all the workshops, there are several stages in the training process which allow the instructor to understand the abilities of each artisan and which type of work is most befitting to him. After proving herself and demonstrating talent in all of the preliminary stages, Victoria began working as one of the skilled sketchers. Due to poor eyesight, she is now only able to work with larger objects, though her work remains precise and impressive.
